Menu
Chocolate Soufflé
Warm, molten core, chocolate sauce and walnuts.
Vegetarian
Baked outside, molten inside. Served warm, with chocolate sauce and walnuts.
- How we prepare it
It comes to the plate warm — the core has to be molten, otherwise it's a cake. That's exactly why it's heated to order and not left standing warmed-up.
- What goes with it
Chocolate sauce and walnuts. The sauce reinforces what's already there; the walnut is the counterpoint — the only thing on the plate that isn't soft.
- Why this way
The sweetest dish on this menu, and it comes warm. For when it should get properly sweet — and for anyone who puts the spoon in the middle first.
